MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Welcome to the Academy Gateway.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your interest in and support of our Math, Science and Arts Academy Programs. These programs are an integral part of the Superintendent's Master Plan and offer students a unique opportunity to learn in a high-level non-traditional environment.

The Iberville Math, Science and Arts Academy is no ordinary school. It is a vision of the future, of what education in Iberville can become. Its enriched instructional program focuses on high standards and high expectations for all students, providing a place where our children will not only succeed in academics; they will see that they can soar!

Our students participate in a hands-on, technology rich learning environment where they are given the tools necessary for learning at a high level. (Every student has a laptop computer and access to the latest information concerning their studies.)

Our course of studies includes college preparatory academic subjects and an emphasis on the arts - namely dance, theatre, music and fine arts. Gifted and talented services are also offered.

For this academic school year, MSA includes 7th, 8th, and 9th grades. Two grades will be added each year until it becomes a K-12 school. School bus transportation is provided to both our academy campuses.
