SALARY DEDUCTIONS REGULATIONS
The Iberville Parish School Board is cognizant of the varied ramifications created by salary deductions. Consequently, to be eligible for payroll deduction, a prospective insurance company must enroll a minimum of seventy-five (75) employees of the Iberville Parish School Board. A prospective company offering annuity policies must enroll a minimum of twenty-five (25) employees to be eligible for payroll deduction. If at any time after initial enrollment the number of employees enrolled with a particular company falls below twenty-five (25), that company will be notified that payroll deductions will no longer be made after the end of the month in which it has been determined that enrollment has fallen below the minimum level. This policy will not affect companies having payroll deduction arrangements with the School Board as of August 22, 1988.
In addition, the following regulations shall apply to deductions in salary of applicable employees:

Implementation of changes, enrollments or cancellations relative to payroll deductions for all voluntary insurance coverages shall only be made in March (to be effective in May).
