NAMES ON BUILDING PLAQUES
Names on plaques recognizing those individuals who have been instrumental in acquiring or building property of the Iberville Parish School Board shall be handled as follows:
New Facilities Construction
The names of all current members serving on the Board when action was taken to award the construction contract and those of the Superintendent/ President, the architect and general contractor shall be engraved on a permanent plaque affixed to the facility.
Facilities Acquisitions
The names of all current members serving on the Board when action was taken to approve the acquisition and that of the Superintendent/President are to be included on the plaque. If renovation of said facility occurs prior to the Board's occupying the facility, in addition to the names of all current Board members and the name of the Superintendent/President, the architect and general contractor's names are also to be included on the plaque affixed to the facility.
Land Acquisitions
When property is acquired for future construction, an appropriate temporary sign shall be constructed, designating the future planned use of the site. The names of all current members serving on the Board when acquisition of the site was approved and the Superintendent/President shall be placed on the identification sign.
Extensive Renovation of an Existing Facility
The names of all current members serving on the Board when action was taken awarding the construction contract for the renovation project, the names of the Superintendent/President, the architect and general contractor are to be included on the plaque. The plaque shall identify the project as a renovation or remodel, and the plaque shall be placed next to or close in proximity to, the original dedication plaque.
