STUDENT IDENTIFICATION

Students shall be required to present their social security cards to school officials upon initial enrollment in school.  The social security number shall be the student's identification number while enrolled in school.  If a social security number is not available, the student shall be given a state identification number in accordance with BESE requirements.

STUDENT IDENTIFICATION CARD

A student identification card shall be issued each student.  During middle school and high school, each student shall be required to carry his/her student identification card on his/her person during the school day and at all school functions.
